PROGRAM NOTE

Containment attempts a music that assumes mass through its being created, perceived and remembered; it is music as matter. It falls backwards on itself and in doing so, is crystallized in our memory. It becomes a retained object, fossilized in the compact sediment of our memory. It is more concerned with how you remember it than it is with you you hear it. Through the act of remembering, the piece becomes endless.
